English musician Ed Sheeran filmed his incredibly happy date in a video. The single and video was called Shivers. And in it the popular singer imagined how his date with a cute stranger would take place. As a result, in 12 hours, the clip collected on YouTube more than two and a half million views.

The video was directed by Dave Meyers and the script was developed by Sheeran. In Shivers, the musician meets a pretty girl in a bar, played by actress Anna-Sophia Robb, who has played in many comedies, the most famous of which is “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.

And then goes on a date with this diminutive but perky, 152 centimeter tall brown-haired girl, during which she predictably gets into various funny or fantastical situations. She gets into fights, goes through reincarnations, and in general the new video is like a parody of modern box-office movies.

The new song is wonderful, done in the dance music tradition of the early 1980’s. Not only the protagonists dance with glee, but even the parrots at the bar.

Curiously enough, Shivers is another clip in which Sheeran is saved from bullies by a girl. Before that happened in his other successful work – Shape Of You.

It is expected that Shivers, as well as earlier singles Bad Habits and Visiting Hours (the latter, incidentally, since August has collected more than 11 million views on YouTube), will be included in the fifth album by Sheeran. It is scheduled for release on October 29.
